Here’s my story: I started my journey as a videographer back in 1999. My father owned a video production company near Birmingham, AL filming weddings, events and commercial video. I still remember my first gig at 13 years old running cables up and down the aisles of a catholic church from 3 cameras to an old video mixer connected to and S-VHS master. We would shoot and mix everything in real time. Fast forward to my early 20’s where I branched off and started my own company, Cook Video Productions. I still worked on weddings and events but also pursued more work in TV and commercials. Some notable clients include Nintendo, Fox and NBC. Back in 2012 I decided to make a life change and move from Alabama to California. I wasn’t pursuing a career in video, I was just looking for a change in my life. After spending almost 10 years in the automotive industry working with Porsche I once again found myself back in the video industry and I am having a blast creating memories, quality content and promotional material for my clients.
Why choose me? Simple, I have a passion for what I do. Every client I work with is an opportunity for me to create something new that I am proud of. I personally handle each project and create a final video that is truly unique. I film all of my events and I do all the editing in house without farming the editing out. It takes a lot of work but I can put my personal touch into every project. I love meeting clients and forming new relationships.
